Where
can I use my FMP Gift Card?
Use
your Gift Card at participating merchants in the mall from
which it was purchased. The mall logo appears on the upper
right corner of the Gift Card. Visit the Mall Customer Service
Center for a list of participating stores.
How
do I find the available balance on my Gift Card?
The original balance should be indicated in the first white
box located on the back of the Gift Card. At any time, you
can confirm the available balance at: the Mall Customer Service
Center, online at www.getmybalance.com
or the mall website, or by phone at 800.755.0085 (automated
phone). The balance also appears in the authorization code
of the receipt for purchases made with your Gift Card. Simply
replace the X in the authorization code with a decimal. For
example, 050X00 means $50.00 remaining. 1EMPTY means $0.00
remaining. You may keep track of your available balance on
the back of the Gift Card.
What
if the purchase amount is more than the available balance
on my Gift Card?
To make a purchase that is greater than the amount of the
available funds, ask the cashier if the merchant can accept
two forms of payment. If the cashier agrees, first pay the
difference with another form of payment accepted by the merchant
(many merchants can only accept cash or check as the other
form of payment), and then use your Gift Card to pay the remaining
balance. Not all merchants accept two forms of payments for
one transaction.
Do
restaurants and salons accept the Gift Card?
Yes, most restaurants and nail/hair salons accept the Gift
Card. However, the Gift Card may not be used to pay for tips
or other gratuities. See Cardholder Agreement for details.
How
do I return something purchased with my Gift Card?
Keep your purchase receipt and Gift Card in case you wish
to make a return. The Gift Card must be present to do a return.
Return policies vary at every store. Please inquire about
the return or exchange policy when making your purchase. If
the merchant issues a credit to the Gift Card, these
funds may not be available for up to 7 business days.
What
if my Gift Card is lost or stolen?
Keep a separate copy of your 16 digit Gift Card number in
case of loss or theft. If your Gift Card is lost or stolen
contact Mall Customer Service immediately to prevent unauthorized
use of the Gift Card. Your Gift Card can be replaced free
of charge ONLY if you can provide us with your Gift Card number
and adequate proof of purchase. Funds debited from a lost/stolen
Gift Card prior to our receipt of your notification cannot
be replaced. See Cardholder Agreement for more details.
Does
my Gift Card expire?
Although the funds on the Gift Card never expire, the magnetic
strip on the back of the Gift Card may become unusable after
a certain period of time. If available funds remain on the
Gift Card, visit the Mall Customer Service Center to exchange
the Gift Card at no charge. See Cardholder Agreement for more
details.
Are
there any service fees?
Except where prohibited or to the extent permitted by law,
a nonrefundable $2.50 Account Maintenance Fee will be deducted
each month from the card balance, commencing on the first
day of the thirteenth month from the date of sale. In New
York, the Account Maintenance Fee will commence on the first
day of the thirteenth month of non-use.
