Kids Club
Join the fun with KidSquare Kids Club! Free club for preschoolers, every third Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. – Noon. Enjoy refreshments, entertainment and more!

How
does the program work? It's simple!
1. Make a purchase at any Stratford Square Mall store, restaurant,
kiosk or cart between September 1, 2008 and February 29, 2009.
2. Bring your receipts to the mall Customer Service Center
(located on the lower level near Center Court.
3. Ask for your receipt to be validated for the school of
your choice. Your receipt will be stamped and returned to
you, and the points will be logged for your school.
4. Receipts can be validated until the 7th of the following
month of the issue date - with the exception of the month
of December. All December receipts have until the end of business
January 15th to validate receipts. (i.e. A receipt dated September
13, 2008 can be validated until October 7, 2008.)
5. Bonus Opportunity
receipts dated in August can be
turned in for 50% of their usual value (5 points per $1.00
spent). These receipts must be turned in by October 7th.
How
does the point system work?
How
to earn the BIG points:
1. Schools receive 10 points for every dollar spent. Dollar
amounts are rounded above or below 50¢.
2. An extra 10 points will be earned with every dollar spent
using a Stratford Square Mall store's charge card or a Visa
card.
3. Bonus points will be awarded throughout the program for
shopping specific retailers. The bonus point retailers or
programs will be announced and distributed two months at a
time at monthly meetings.
Newsletters/Flyers
- 250 points
Schools will earn 250 points for distributing information
about the Shop Stratford for Schools for Schools program in
the following formats: article in school newspaper, article
in neighborhood association newsletter, flyer home to parents,
article in church bulletin - limit to ONE bulletin per month
- (any church bulletin), announcement in music/theatre or
athletic program. A copy must be provided to mall indicating
school name, date distributed, and how distributed.
Program
Coordinator Meetings - 1,000 points
Each school represented at each monthly mall meeting will
receive 1,000 bonus points.
School
Display - 500 points
Displays set up in school hallways, gymnasiums, cafeterias
or administration offices advertising the Shop Stratford for
Schools program are eligible for 500 bonus points. A photo
of display must be provided to mall.
School
Event - 500 per person
Schools hosting a Shop Stratford for Schools Event will receive
500 points (must provide a flyer / invitation or photo regarding
the event).
What
are the responsibilities of the school coordinators?
School
Coordinators act as the liaison between Stratford Square Mall
and the school. Responsibilities include:
1. Attendance at monthly meetings. These meetings usually
last no longer than 20 minutes.
2. Informing students and parents about the program by including
information in newsletters, adding it as an agenda item at
PTA/PTO meetings and distributing flyers provided by Stratford
Square Mall to students/parents.
3. Picking up Shop Stratford for Schools-related flyers from
the mall and distributing them to student body and faculty.
Schools will be given plenty of notice.
4. Maintaining a minimum of 200,000 points to be considered
for participation in future Shop Stratford for Schools programs.
Points
will not be earned if:
1.
Receipts are from outside Stratford Square Mall. Only Stratford
Square Mall receipts may be redeemed for Shop Stratford for
Schools points.
2. Receipts do not have a store name on them. If a retailer's
receipt does not have the store name on it, customers must
ask them to write it in.
3. Receipts are deemed to be leftovers from a retailer's daily
business.
4. Receipts are expired from a previous month.
How
much money will be awarded?
At least $10,000 in prizes will be distributed. Prizes are
awarded based on the average number of points per student
(the total points earned per school divided by the total student
enrollment as of March 1, 2009).
Schools
signed up by September 15, 2008 will earn $500.00 in prize
money provided they earn a minimum of 600 points per student
as of March 1, 2008.Total amount of prize money distributed
will be determined by the number of schools reaching minimum
point requirement.
